Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team at Huntapac Produce Ltd. This role is critical in maintaining our high standards of quality assurance throughout our production processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the rigorous standards expected by our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to maintain high-quality output.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management review.
- Train staff on quality control protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP guidelines throughout all stages of production.
- Management of Quality Control hours, overtime, and attendance to the weekly wages meeting
- Train and motivate QC staff as required.
- Ensure specifications for all products are adhered to.
- Carry out daily GMP Audits and report Non-conformances to relevant managers.
- Carry out monthly compliance and belt audits and review all non-conformances, verify actions and report.
- Participate in Management and HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and QACCP meetings.
- Participate in 3rd Party and customer audits.
- Complete Internal audits.
- Ensure company policies and procedures relating to Food Safety, Quality, Authenticity Legality and Integrity are implemented and manage staff to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
- Experience in developing training programs related to quality standards.
