Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial driving and possess the necessary skills to excel in this role.
We have permanent vacancies for C+E ( class 1) drivers to join our busy operation at Huntapac Produce.

Work involves:
The work involves palletized deliveries in refrigerated trailers (carrying multi temperature loads) to nationwide regional distribution centers (RDC).
This will include some loading / unloading with a pallet truck and also bulker deliveries to and from farms.
Rigorous induction and assessment program will be performed with every potential candidate for success.

Responsibilities:
– Drive trucks to transport goods and materials over short or long distances
– Ensure cargo is secured properly
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
– Maintain accurate driving logs
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations

Skills:
– Proven experience as a Truck Driver or Delivery Driver
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
– Ability to operate a flatbed truck is a plus
– Strong communication and customer service skills

4 on / 4 off – Rotation shifts 4 days work and 4 days rest.

What are we offering:
Our drivers on average earn between £50,000 – £60,000 a year on Full time contract with additional hours provided when required and available.

£14.00 per hour basic day rate
£15.00 per hour basic night rate
£16.50 per hour weekend day rate
£18.00 per hour weekend night rate

Other benefits:
Meal allowance £7 per shift.
Phone allowance £1 per shift.
Night out payments £26.20.
Services, parking & tolls are fully paid.
